Peter Franus Chardonnay 2009

Peter Franus is one of the very best producers of limited production wines in Napa. His passion for winemaking translates into gorgeous varietals in the bottle. If a particular vintage does not meet his exacting standards, he does not release it.

The Peter Franus 2009 Chardonnay is one of his shining moments. If you are a Chardonnay lover--and even if you are not--you will appreciate the beauty of this white wine. This is a light gold Chardonnay that offers a flavor palate of apple, cardamom, light vanilla, and a hint of orange peel. It is rich and refreshing with bright acidity. The finish is long and lingering. Only 70 cases of this beauty were produced.

Pair this wine with creamy cheeses or sharp cheddar. Try it with our four cheese flatbread or the garlic and shrimp flatbread. It is also a great complement to ceviche.

As a bonus, we are offering this great wine at a cost of $10 per glass instead of its usual $17 per glass. We want you to fall in love with a truly beautiful Chard. Come in and have a glass this weekend.

Instead of any gimmicks or "specials," we are going to give you what you have come to expect from Naked Grape on Valentine's evening: Our usual half-price on-premise bottle feature. Bring that special someone in for a nice bottle of wine and some delicious tapas. Relax in the candlelit atmosphere and spend some time connecting with your own Valentine!

However, because it is a special evening, there will be a special "sweet treat" to end your evening with us, complementary of the NGWB.

Event for the Senses, Valentine Edition
This Coming Sunday, February 12, 2012, 1PM until 3PM

Just in time for Valentine's Day. . . Make plans to be at the wine bar on Sunday, February 12, from 1PM until 3PM, for the Valentine edition of this event that will indulge your senses.

You will sip wines from California's Clos La Chance winery, savor delicious chocolates presented by Vosges, inhale the magnificence of fragrances from the House of Creed, and feel the blend of essential oils and botanicals from Kiehl's skin care.

Make your reservation my calling the wine bar: 954-563-5631. There is no charge to attend this event, but reservations will be limited to the first 20 people and MUST be made in advance. The nature of this presentation does not allow for casual walk-ins, so please plan to be at the wine bar by 1:30PM sharp.

Our new outdoor seating area is ready for you to dine alfresco in our amazing winter weather. New tables and chairs along with plants and palms grace our enclosed outdoor patio. We are still putting the finishing touches on the patio, but it is certainly ready for you to relax and watch the world--or the people--go by as you enjoy our fine evenings.
